Perfect Pass Dead Spot
With the PP on and prior to it taking control, my acceleration had a dead spot. Happens everytime at about halfway between 0 and the set speed. As I accelerate there is about 3 inches of throttle movement were there is no responce then it is as it catches up. After that everything works great. This only happens when the control is on. Didn't find anything on a search but I'm not really sure what to search for. Thanks.

Oh boy, no responses. Must mean no one else is having the same issue.

Have you called the perfect pass folks to see what they think?

I have the same issue, assumed it was normal.

In the troubleshooting manual under the rpm area it says there is a slight pass on acceleration. I'm assuming this is what they are talking about. It's very noticable when loaded for wakesurfing. I sent a email into PP. We suppers what they say.

Received this yesterday. Guess its normal....
Hi,
That is normal operation. It's referred to as the "roll back", and is where the system forces the driver to advance the throttle a little further forward. This is needed so that after it engages it has room to move.
