She's Naked!
Haha!!! I knew i could get you to click on this thread just because of the title!
Anyway, my boat was in bad need of a full-on strip down and detail so here we go:
Stripped all Gravity Games White Decals from the side and the transom.
Wet-sanded her with 2000 grit sandpaper and a block on the sides.
Used 3m Super Duty Compound with a wool pad on a Makita 6 speed buffer. (1500-2000 RPM Settings)
Then Used 3m Finesse It 2. (Same 1500-2000 RPM Settings)
Then Used 100% Carnabua Wax for protection.
Here she is with all Gravity Games Graphics stripped, she's way naked now, what do you guys think???

-
Thanks for the kind words! I did all the work myself. Took me a total of 3 days! It was well worth it, and pics on the water coming this weekend!
-
looking sharp , now i'll know what to do in the future
-
Thanks, Yeah, I did a lot of research first and it seems like I used the "magic combination" of products.
-
Yep, Thanks man! I just don't trust anyone else to do the work.
-
so fresh and so clean...2 thumbs up!
-
Thanks Salty, that's exactly what I was going for!
-
Nothing beats a clean boat... Nice work! I like her "classic" side better than the propaganda/decal look.
-
I used to prefer the GG decals but I think I've turned the corner on that.... She looks great naked and you did use the "magic combination" to bring her back!
