Yeah I will still "respectfully" disagree. ha ha (note respectfully). Maybe we are saying the same thing, but I don't think so. I have owned a few of the 22SSV's and that wake is the most finicky of any of the Supra line, but it can be made awesome. My suggestion is to empty the rear bags and speed up the boat or add more weight to the front and not to the back and still speed up the boat. It will have less abrupt steepness and give you a more rounded and rampy wake that still has lots of mass. We usually ran the wake plate at about 50% or in that area.

LOL, yes we can respectfully disagree. I will agree, though, that front weight is the key to getting the "supra wake" dialed in. I run 1200 in the bow and nothing in the rears all the time.
I'm anxious to see pics of the wakeplate mod as well.

I have to agree with Diggs on this. I messed with weight placement for over a year, two seasons. We have a 24, not sure how it translates to the 22. Last year I'd run 750's in each rear locker, 1180 in the belly, 225 of lead in the bow and about a 200lbs sac in the bow. This weight was ok. Wake was big, but we had to go 24+ mph for the wake to be clean. I didnt really like the speed but put up with it. Get too many people in the boat and the wake had a mind of it's own and would be real inconsistent. A couple of times I wanted to sell it and get a bu. Then I remembered the stock weight ratio of 40/60 (rear/front) and dropped the rear sacks to about 500lbs each and kept the front the same. Just so the platform is under water on the port side and about even with the water starboard (the prop balances it out). Wake plate all the way up. Wake is a good size, good shape, consistent and clean at about 23 mph and up to 85' out. Only thing is you really need to watch the bow, the bow eye is in the water. But it's definately a fun wake to hit.
