Yeah, its 77 degress out right now and of course Im stuck in the office fixing computers :( but it wouldnt matter anyway cus the boat hasnt come back from the stringer repair shop. This is the first week it has been this warm, so i guess the winter is on its way out.
Attachment 9007 i know i should be working on "paying" jobs.....but Louisiana is getting really warm really fast...tired of taking the flat boat out
Hey..I recognize that car. Here is my college car. I miss her.It had a WIDE body kit on it, 9" fronts and 12" in the rear, racing suspension, custom stereo. I could bearly go over a speed bump. Attachment 9011
wow jet....building it the same way but with a ls6
Heres my carpet sample. Attachment 9012
yea, thats the color I bought for my boat.
how did I just stumble on this, slick as sh*t windshield frame.......more pics, especially for us Conbrio owners!!!!
Where you at tk? Is that the red 914 that I sold after my Porchev project lingered in the garage too long (914 transaxle on RedDawg subframe)???
down in louisiana...about 30 miles north of New Orleans. I promise i will take some good pics this weekend and post them. Also some of the top for Jet
No they are the same. The grain is just turned the wrong way, one is facing forward and is facing to the rear. You have to be careful anytime you replace carpet to make sure they are facing the wrong way otherwise they will look like a diff color. I found that out tthe hard way. lol. Its a 20 oz, not TO thick and not to thin.

I love black boats. My favorite colors on a comp is the black and gray and the black and beige. Yours looks awesome. How about doing this all a favor . And make a boat photo album and post it on your personal page. Attachment 9025
All the black and silver/gray look good
One thing will it not be hot as hell dont get me wrong it looks great
I agree. When I bought my boat there was a black and gray ones sitting right next to it. I think it was a classic addition. I know it had a bunch of wood trim on it , it was gorgeous. But I have a friend that had a black boat and I know how much work he put into it to keep it looking nice. Not to mention you couldn't touch it on a hot sunny day. And after 25 plus years I think me the right choice.
Sure you can post pictures here in the thread. But a lot of this have boat and personal pictures in albums on our personal page. To see what I'm talking about checkout mine. Just click on Hagman scroll down a little ways and find photo albums click on one of the album.
Yea, that helps. Now I know I can build one. DIY baby.
its only $200 on ebay...may be worth just buying
Is easily removed for storage? For $200 I'll buy it.
TK that boat looks awesome!!! I'm going to be repainting my boat that same color scheme this next winter. Just painted my new 454 grabber green, and had everything else powdercoated black. Keep the pics coming!!!

Green??........................................... .........
That is about the only way a 454 could be green.
haha... that's for sure. Just heard on news last night gas is supposed to reach $5 this summer. But when you're talking big blocks you cant talk gas prices.
