This is what we use when we go long distance.
I've got a 6" fabtech lift with 22" KMC Monsters on 37's
I'm good untill 75' total length !!! One of my pickups is 24' long:)
Here's a couple more Jet, nothing too close, gotta work on that, and one not even with the BOAT, just working hard.
Here's the back up rig!! Only for real short pulls or maybe just beer runs:)

The rig and new ride
ah, the new owner of JonyB's boat, congrats, enjoy that baby!
wondered if that was jonyb's boat. It is all naked now. Looks great.
Diggs-
Thanks buddy, ya I'll be down there a couple times for sure. You gonna make it up north again?
Dgreen
Hope to make it up once, but no real plans. Drop me a PM if you come back down...
Will do Diggs, love tie up in that lagoon you guys got down there.
Thinking of staying era correct and towing the 1989 pirata with my 1990 Dodge dakota.
Bought the dakota for $300 a month or so ago. Just used it to move the boat to the garage
so I could get busy and be close to the tools.

Great deal on the Dakota. Do you know what the tow rating is for that truck. It looks like you may be pushing the limits, and I think you were talking about coming down to TN for our Supra get-together this summer.
Hey Gogger; I don't know how safe that is. I would suggest keeping it below 35mph.
Just joking. Just moved it from the barn to the garage. I will be towing it with my dually. Just used the dakota to move it this afternoon.

Yea a while back on the thread about loading ramp stories someone posted about using their new 1990 dodge dakota to tow their buddies new boat.... Anyways made me think of it when I was hooked up.
I use my cherokee to move the bravura around the property wouldnt even think about trying on the ramp.
None of my rig hooked up to the boat yet, but here's my truck. 01 Tacoma with a Solid Axle Conversion
Your going to need a 6 inch drop I believe.
14"
I have it back strapped to the frame. The high clearance bumper is what does it because it's really not that tall of a truck
This brings up a good point and I know this is getting off "Coolest Tow Vehicles", I tow with a full size GM and have an 8" drop hitch. My trailer sits at just slightly angled UP (See attached image).
Are you guys that tow with Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Escalades using a 10" drop hitch to provide more clearance in the back and easier on /off?
Attachment 9667
I have a 95 suburban takes a 4" rise to make the trailer set level.
Yeah bigcity. It needs to drop 1-2 more inches and you will be good and you wont drag as much. A single axle trailer tows the best just below level.
Here's a shot of the new tow rig! Work required a heavier duty truck, so I figured, lets do it big!
Nice work Dgreen!
Thanks Diggs. By the way, I need to chat to ur buddy about some new stereo goodies, Im planning on switching over to Exile after that boat tie up last summer on Sammamish.
Nice truck!

Very very nice!
Thanks guys! Boat seems a bit small behind it, but I refuse to get an offshore boat! No Miami Vice here!!
