No problem... I have very severe asthma... yes I realize it not the same deal.... however it's nearly killed me 3 times. I enjoy life despite having some limitations, and at least try even when others say I shouldn't or can't. :)
Does your cage bolt on? or snaps to the edges? What board do you normally ride? I here the Mana is a sweet ride.
severe asthma? and you are out there wet sanding that sunsport? man, you're crazy, lol. I dont think I would be out there sucking up fumes and dust if I had asthma, lol. but you gotta get it done, right. :)
The cage bolts into the binding locations. This way you can move it forward or reverse to allow for a smooth ride. All last year I rode the 2011 Shaun Murray Nova Core board. The year before that i rode a cheap 2009? Gator Militant board. The Mana was a pretty neat board. It has an extremely late, aggresive, three stage rocker. Molded in fins at the tip and tail with a removable center fin. Also, the center is extremely flat so the landings are a bit rougher than the Murray board which has a center spine. The edge on the Mana allowed for quick and easy edging. Actually, I dont think I have ever edged that hard in my life. It is an aggresive board!!! And of course, seeing Dean Smith ride the baord you can understand why its like that. He goes so HUGE and so far into the flats! I know if it were me out there riding as big and hard as he does I would probably break some ligaments in the knees.
Finally a pic of my tow pig and tow boat

Finally got to wake board behind it for the first time. I was pretty happy with it.
Hopefully I will be able to post some pics of the boat on the water tomorrow, we have decided that we need at least an afternoon away from it all and tomorrow seems like the perfect day to do it. I was able to wrap up my exhaust outlet swap and am going to test it tomorrow before heading out.

It's not super pretty but it sure is sealed up good and tight which is better than what was there before, both seals on the trapps failed in addition to none of the screws being sealed that held the flange against the transom.
I am dieing to get on the water. What would you say is the minimum depth you can safely run in.
same here. i've had no pics to contribute for months. i'm right below a dam at my neighborhood ramp. water is sometimes only 3' depending on releases from the dam. that's idle speed only time and nerve wracking to say the least. perfect for dropping anchor but that's about it.
bens250...hat's off to you! she looks great, lets see some more of the boat :)
wotan, sweet wheels and a nice deal too.
We run in an army corp lake they drain in the winter.
With no snow melt to speak of and next to no rain the two big lake are down around 14'.
There are 10 lakes an hour and a half north of me that may be up but I dont know those lakes at all realy dont want to destroy my boat.
Well, not sure how much of a drive you feel like doing but there are plenty of places up by me that I would be more than happy to show you around. But damn, 14 foot difference is rough stuff!
The two lakes we frequent are little more than streams in the winter months.
If we dont get any rain in the next week or two I will take you up on the invite.
I want to use the perfect pass and try out the new boards I picked up over the winter.
Im like a little kid that cant play with all his new toys!!!!
Second weekend out.. last weekend was 57-60 water temps. yesterday>>> 70!!
got a nice wakeboard ride in and some good surfing..
That sounds rough, they also do a winter draw down up here but the lakes are all back to normal summer levels. I'm headed out of town on my honeymoon a week from today but I will be back middle of the first week in June. Invite is open from then on if your situation does not improve by then. Might I suggest some reading on how to summon the rain via rain dances in the meantime?
Yes. They came off of a Chrysler 300. Bolt pattern is right but I was worried that the offset would be wrong. I'm sort of right. If I had inner fenders (which I don't) they would FOR SURE be in the way. I could probably space them out another 1/4" before I'd be in danger of rubbing on the outside edge of the fender but still probably wouldn't clear the inner fenders.
They are also about 1" taller than my original tire/wheel setup. This was intentional as I was hoping to gain more clearance on my prop guard. In reality, though, it's even more than 1" difference because these tires have MUCH stiffer sidewalls than my old balloon tires.
Greetings from Utah. It's great to be in the water!

Ben, Great to see you're on the water... Must feel awesome! that extended pole really almost looks better than most towers on these comps, That's a sweet lookin set up on a calm day!!!!!
Finally took out the new (to me) Comp. Cleaned the interior, exterior, and rebuilt the raw water pump. Ran like a champ! Here's a picture from when we took it out for a cruise on the lake, and another picture of the seal that was bad on the raw water pump. It only took me about a hour to rebuild it.
I blew out the speedo tubes, but the right speedo is still dead, left one is slow. I think I need to do the pickup tubes.

Here is mine from the weekend... Ran Lake St.Claire from one side to the other. About a 30min run each way. At one point land was 15miles or greater in any direction. :D
Pics are from Mitchell Bay. If you are ever near this is a must stop area. Arces and arcres of sandy bottom 3.5' deep places to relax. Water temps are about 65!!
:D :D Awesome http://i794.photobucket.com/albums/y...ey-2thumbs.gif
My friend and boat co-owner mark tearing it up on Saturday. Our first real time out on the boat :)

Just got my tower finished up. Took longer than i thought it would but i took my time and now it's solid as a rock. Get to test it out this weekend. Sweet!
Yeaaaaaaa

Props to the new ride! I have an open bow legacy but love the look of the comp closed bow.
On your speed In your pic it looks like your mph is about 25 and your rpms are 2500 that seems about right. Do you have the speed calibration buttons? My daughter has played with the calibration and thrown the speed way off. If you want to check your speed and you have acces to a slalom course it takes about 19.2 sec to go through the course which is 849 feet.
What do you use boat for the most ski or board?
Think I ordered the tower back in late February. It was a package deal from h20sportswarehouse.com. It included 2 wakeboard racks. They first said it would ship early April then later they said April 23. After thoes two dates came and went I was told early May. Think it showed up first week of May. The racks showed up way back in March. The tower light came in about a week after the tower. I think they must ship from 3 diffrent warehouses. If you ordered from the same outfit I understand your question. I'm not real happy with the runaround I got from h20 sports warehouse but everything did show up and I'm happy with the end result.
here is a shot of the boat before riding last night
Finally got to try out the new surfer behind my '85 Sunsport

not happy was an understatement... they just told me 2 more weeks for my racks... I ordered beginning of march. Had them ship it to my friend in buffalo.... asked them to ship the racks to my house cause no where did it read that it would all come separately... So mad!!!! Once again like the product not the service... thinking of complaining to Aeriel, it gives them a bad name.
