Man is the boating season already over ? well i am thinking about some new things to putt on in the winter ... Xtab from bennet / New tower / decals/ intake and TB injection (junk yard special :) ) but here is "LIVELYHOOD" http://i1189.photobucket.com/albums/...308B17E2C6.jpg
and if you look to the top right of my tower .. that my friends is a weak weld that broke .. lol that tower is weak as it is anyway ...
those of you that have towers .. do they sway when your underway ? or is it more rigid and firm ?
On my Monster tower(MT-1) the left rear leg keeps coming loose at the top swivel that allows the tower to fold down... Havent heard back from them yet about a fix. Wish I had waited and gotten a Titan. I think they look alot better, and 1 pin to fold.
ill check that out ... i like my look , but deff want something more rigid
+1 for the Titan. I put one on my Salt & it does not move. I've towed everything from wakeboards, 3 person tubes, and even comp slaloms & it doesn't flex. Yeah, I know tubes from the tower are supposed to be a no-no, but I reinforced the heck outta the backside of the mounts (17 oz glass over 3/4" ply). Also, the Titan uses heim joints at the deck joint so the loads are transferred with minimal torque. On the down side, I have to remove the front wishbone completely to fit under my garage door header. Also the design makes it difficult to fit a functional bimini (planned winter project). Oh, and the tubes are stainless so drilling for tower speakers takes good quality drill bits.
The look isn't for everyone - but here's some pics mounted on my Salt for reference

Mike - that last photo is interesting. My Salt doesn't kick up that much water when idling, so maybe my water flow is less? I don't have any temperature issues, so I'm not sure what the harm might be.
p.s. I like how you said +1 for the Titan. I'll just pretend you meant that personally for me. :p
I bet that is not a "low" idle in that picture. I know on my comp with the baby engine, starting and then a high idle resonates pretty hard off of the composite platform I have. I have a feeling that if I had a teak platform like both of you that mine would look like that doing a high idle.
I noticed the same thing. The SuperTrapps can be oriented to face down or face up. My guess is that his were faced up. It makes quite a difference.
SuperTrapps radiate around in a 360 degree pattern however, Mike is running flappers I believe.
