Here is a little more progress, Not much I just thought it was a cool pic,,
Now for a picture of the sides off, Id say go back 5-6 pages and there is one in there I believe! You will have holes everywhere from the screws
Excellent!! I love it!! I would love to see some detail pics of the interior when you're done. We gotta hook up sometime since we live/play so close.
thanks a lot man great looking boat
Well just got the sunbrella custom cover made for it, Pleasant valley tarps in oakland Maryland did it and Im impressed! They made velcro sections to go over the tower posts and velcro doors over the cleats so I can dock it still with the cover on !

Things that still need done...
Open bow interior - rear bench and storage cover - plumb fat sacs into the boat - hook up depth gauge - misc dumb stuff - Supra Decal for middle section of the sides - and then a regular bimni or cargo bimni
looks great man can't wait to start mine
ok those leds in the rear vents are great, how'd you do that???? Cover's off the hook too!!!
Was think'in lately of putting some accent led's on the inside of the trailer frame, for night time highway cruising....wasn't sure how to switch them cleanly in the truck...Any thoughts????
I found this boat after some searching, looked good, talked to the guy, a friend drove 1 hr 15 min the next day to see it, checked it out, put on the water and needless to say I put the money in his acct that day.
It's in great condition, he had it for about 5 months, found it in a warehouse in IN where it sat for 10 years. He re-built the trailer. Put on the lake this w/end ran great and sounds good! Looking forward to gearing it up for some surfing. Two soft spots on the floor, plan to redo this winter and maybe add a stereo.
(can't seem to add any more photos):(
Crazy cheap! The best price I found locally was $1300.... one place quoted be $2800!!
Wow thats a lot of cash for a cover!
Well I tested the lights and took a picture but the picture does not do them justice, Between the docks is 40 feet and it makes it a little past the middle which is 25 feet! I don' t know if this matters but the water is 44 feet deep there.. These lights are rated at 30 feet but I believe thats in clear waters! Tygart lake is pretty clear though for a northern lake

I took my nieghbor and nephew out to check them out and they saw the fish that gatherd around the lights so they wanted to jump on them lol so they did some night swimming

Here is a quick example of something Ill probally never use.. but the nieces and nephews love it and when we go to cheat lake there is a night life on the docks
After looking at this post again I am starting to like the light blue more and more... Have you seen any others in this colour combo??? Love the blue LED !!!!
When you replaced your stringers, what wood did you use? And do you remember the height of them?
Sorry no measurements have been saved..
Well the season has come to an end so its time to get back to work on the boat... Things that need finished over the winter will be
- Ballasts + hidden and switched
- Finish the rest of the interior
- New graphic Decals..
- Run wires for tower speakers properly
- actaully hook up both batterys to a the switch
- I got more underwater transome lights.. Plan to angle down
- TRAILER needs new leaf springs and brake work..Hopefully I get wheels for it to by spring
Things I need to locate are trailer leafs? Anybody replace these before?
http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL132.../392253775.jpg
Im starting to catch some more air and distance with the 600lb sac.. To bad the season is over... Next season the first thing im going to start working on is spins
Did you drill out the rivets? How difficult was it to re-install the rub rail?
It didn't appear as though you "through-bolted" the swim deck brackets. Did I miss it? If you didn't, why not? I also noticed someone posted a thread regarding space around the foam. Are you concerned about it? Did you replace the fuse block? Did the upper wiring harness easily disconnect from the lower? Is there anything I should know about disconnecting the steering and throttle or any other upper connections?
Everything went pretty smooth.. I don't know what you mean by through bolting my swim platform.. its Solid as can be..
When you tear into the steering the throttal just make sure you keep your bold and pieces in bags so you don't confuse your self..
From what I remember the steering I just unbolted everthing under the steering wheel then I popped the cap off the center of the steering wheel and removed the main bolt and it was off!
Im not to sure on the throttal.. I remember a bunch of wood screws holding it in place and clips and 10mm in the rear.. You have to remove the whole side panel to gain more access
It appears as though you didn't put any of the railing back on. Did you eventually put it back on? If not, how did you plug the holes?
When I previously asked about "through-bolting" you swim platform, I meant using nuts and bolts passing all the way through the hull. Isn't it originally held in place with lag bolts?
Do you still have the front rail? Are you going to put it back on, or would you consider parting with it?
I would have.. but I Scrapped it the last time my work hauled junk in!
http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL132.../395500896.jpg
I went to take the boat out of storage today.. Time to get the misc stuff finished up..
http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL132.../395500899.jpg
Removed the tower to get it into the interior Shops garage... Once I get it back im going to start on battery switch.. depth gauge.. Ballasts.. pumps.. etc etc.. Wire up the tower speakers so the wires hidden.. and the biggest project once I dock the boat it more work to the trailer
awesome job man, very nice.
This boat is for sale again!
LOL.. Yes sir. The only mistake dschaff made on this boat imo. I've owned fir 7 years and has been perfect!
Lol, calling it a mistake is being too kind. I heard the cries from a thousand carpenters scream out in agony and despair when he bragged about doing that.
Good to know everything else was solid on this boat. Guess he was sober for the first part of the build. Hope it finds a new good home!
