I just bought my first surpa...a 91 conbrio. I been reading alot of post and it seems like I bought the wrong boat for wakeboarding. However im just starting to really get into the sport and Im 37 yrs old. Dont think im gonna try any flips anytime soon. I only paid $1500 for the boat. I was wondering if you guys could give me any pointers on parts or ideas...Thanks

I think for $1500 you got a steal of a deal.
Just check the floors and strigners for rot. you can get a lot of parts for the boat at www.skidim.com and i think these guys have leads on OEM stuff from guys like Jim @ Viper customs or Don @ Bennett's Repair.
Goodluck with the boat.

O_O Whoah!!! What?!?! How?!? Haha
That is a great looking boat so far! What tower is that? Is that wrapped or painted? Congrats on what sounds like a GREAT deal. Not necessarily the best for Wakeboarding but hey, I had a great few seasons learning to board on an outboard 17 foot Four Winns, hardly a "wake" boat yet I had a TON of fun.

Thanks lol...its all paint. The tower is a spider from hydrowake (ebay speical) but nice for the money

You got a hell of a deal. What paint did you use?

basf base/clear...the guy i got it from said he couldnt get it started...so i but it as is. I found a lose starter wire and it fired right up.

Did you do the paint yourself? If not, what did it cost you? I would love to get my boat painted...
