About to pull the trigger on one of the two of them. Going to see them this weekend. Coming from a 2001 21 Launch.
My 13 yr old is dying to surf. I love the 2012 22V but I've heard the 21 Launch was a good boat to surf behind.
Any opinions would be appreciated

The 22 will be not only be longer, have better seating, but it will have more freeboard. The add'l freeboard will allow you to put larger bags in the back lockers.
Both will surf, the 21 was known for having a better wakeboard wake, but not surf wave.
My previous boat was a 22. My buddy still has a 21. Spent a lot of time on both of them.

Both good boats. Since I've been in the wake boat world I have found bigger is better on the surfing.Quote:

I was recently on a 265 Centurion - probably one of the biggest wake boats on market. Big azz boat, big azz wave. It was also pushing 5k of ballast and 11-12 people onboard.
