Thanks guys. How hot is to hot for the risers. It just seems like they're getting too hot. I may just be paranoid.

When running the boat on "fake a lake" it runs around 150 degrees and the risers are warm but never hot. I was out on the lake last weekend and the boat was running...

Used the 3M adhesive remover, worked pretty good. I did buy the 3M stripe remover, didn’t use it yet but plan to soon. I picked it up at Advanced Auto Parts for $34.

Anyone have a great way to get the sticker residue off? I peeled the old letters off the boat and scrubbed for 20 mins and still haven’t removed all of it. Goo gone? Thanks

Just following up guys. After new impeller, water pump, hoses and t-stat. We're running at a cool 140-150 degrees. Thanks for all your help.

Water pump from auto store is not even close.

My engine is a standard rotation or LH, same as the car engine so you are correct. A car circulation pump will work. Thanks again guys. You've been a big help.

What happens if my engine turns counter clockwise(because i don't know) and the water pump is clockwise rotation?

Since this is a temporary fix. Do you see any reason this wouldn't work?
