Not sure about your exact issue, but has anyone checked the fuel tank vent is clear and the hose has a loop up so water cannot get in the fuel that way. Fuel filter replaced? Fuel sample, in a clear...

I replaced all my bulbs with LED's from superbrightleds.com. Excellent products! You can buy the replacement fixture and then match the bulb on their online bulb finder. I did the warm white...
I have used my 90 Mariah with a 351/ 1.23 trans and we could just get enough speed to have a go. My buddy on the rope knows how to foot pretty darn good, I still have not been longline. I did get a...
That Comp looks great, it is so small the doghouse looks huge! Did you do the vinyl yourself?
middlegriff1, where do you all usually go to launch? I am familiar with most of the river. Since 87 SUPRACOMPBABY moved to Ohio I have been going to Raystown lake. Have not been to the river this...
I have to second the HEI, I installed the Pertronix brand and love it! It has been trouble free, and great customer service if you do need them.
Dear Mr. Hunter, Could you do a cap-off on my Mariah in say 6 months? Boy that boat looks great, really nice work! I agree with Mischief IV- I like the rainbow stripes myself! Hats off to you!
Man do I feel for you, I somehow backed my boat into a tree while leaving the campsite this weekend. Busted my platform pretty good! Best of luck with your search!
I have been wanting to step up to a small, trailerable cabin cruiser for awhile now. The Allegro would be just the ticket! Good luck with your search, I too have never seen one...
Nice shots ,cadunkle. I almost broke my back doing that a few years ago( felt like it at least!). Somehow I am more aggressive when I am that close to the water!
Welcome! Where in MD do you ride? I also ride in MD and PA. We sometimes go to the Potomac river at dam 4 or 5. Or Raystown lake in PA.
+1 on the engine align. Look on the net, there are several good videos. It is not too hard, mostly time consuming. Take your time and get it right.
My manual for the 1990 Mariah/Bravura says the strut bushing should be replaced at 300 hours- more often in sandy or silty conditions. I would not put in drive out of the water as stated, as this...
jzelt, Raystown lake?
Nice work, love the teak!
I think mine is 36" high. It matches the factory bimini that attaches to the windshield. I have pic's around here somewhere. I do have to duck, but it came from my old boat- so it was paid for!
On my 90 Mariah there are 2 blowers at the stern. One is connected to a hose that goes to the bilge area and hooks to a PVC pipe. The other, I would have to pull my locker as I cannot remember! Hope...
ngavchris, I replaced it last year and always pull it at the end of the season to inspect and winterize. I will buy a spare for next season just to have aboard for peace of mind.
My 2 cents...I once took a flashlight and looked up my exhaust from the transom to see what was in there. I saw a series of 'baffles' that alternated, 1 from the bottom and 1 from the top- so on all...
Thanks for the replies, I will re-install the other direction in the spring and watch the temp closely.
Anyone know where to find the center part of the windshield for my 90 Mariah? i am looking for the part that opens for access to the bow. Thanks!
Nice work! Love the fender design! This is what I need to do to mine, starting to get a bit rusty inside!
I think my thermostat was installed backwards! The'cone' shape was towards the raw water pump and the thermostat says this side to radiator on the opposite side, the side that was toward the engine....
You know I am down for the ride! But with a new (to you) boat, you may want to change your user name!

If yours is anything like mine, there is a thin strip of plastic on the outside lower edge of the windshield that you can remove to access the mounting screws. Just be careful prying the strip off,...
