I could put my hand on it for a second or two before I'd have to take it off running it above idle.
So just a new hose? Maybe I damaged something taking it off and putting it back on when I was...
It's almost like there is oil or something on the hose and when it heats up it starts to smoke. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
There is no large muffler. And the boat runs great and doesn't run hot at all....
The "smoke" is white and its not a ton of smoke if I keept the engine cover closed I'd probably never notice it.

The problem is the final exhaust hose after the riser is smoking...Here is where I am at.
There was smoke coming from the exhaust manifold at first so I ordered a new gasket...

Ok so I know I've been MIA this season but I'm getting ready to winerize and I have a quick question. When I winterized last year one of the block plugs pulled some of the threads out of the...

Yea, I've been to St. Croix a ton and I love it there...just sucks that I just got the boat running good and now its over. But I work for an environmental contractor that tests for "fugitive...
Well there is good and bad news. The good news is my company is one of a few that isn't making layoffs and my season isn't over cause of more boat problems. But it seems like as soon as next week...
Well I had the boat out on Thursday....It didn't run the greatest at first but after being out and messing with the idle/air fuel screws I think I got it dialed in. It seems to be idling a little...
I sure will man....If the weather holds off today I'll be taking it out after work, but it looks like rain. I'll also try to get a video. Yea, I love the color scheme all around, its very different...

Well like I said I couldnt take it out this weekend but its running great on the hose!!!! It starts faster and easier than it ever has...a split second and its going....I let it run on the hose for a...
And the outside after the wax....its amazing what wax does to a boat!
Well I got a new phone that takes some real good pictures so when I was waxing the boat over the weekend I thought I'd take some pictures of the boat....there is one or two of the new carpt that...
already replaced the fuel filter....I think a new belt wouldn't hurt though!
Can I get one from a regular auto parts store or are they marine grade or something?
Ok...well out of the water on the hose its running great after a little adjustment with the idle screw. I let it get warm and started great! better than its ever started before warm and cold. Now...
will it be ok if the new fuel line "snakes" around a little bit before attaching to the carb? cause it seems like if I went the small hose route that I'd have to snake it around because the carb...
How good will the rubber fuel line hook up at the pump? isn't it threaded down there....do I need anything or should I just put the hose over the threads. But I cann't really remember how it looks...
