12 years of service. I think it is normal to not to expect a free replacement after 12 years of service. Sounds like you have a background in electronics, how should it have been built?
Electronic ignition requires an in voltage to trigger. By turning on the accessories you were dropping below the threshold and the system would shut down.
I had Petronix in my SN for years with no issues at all. Had issues after the installation with the instructions and customer service squared me away. It was a compatability issue with the coil...
Hesitates all the time while under Throttle or just during acceleration?
Confirm good connections on the gauge before anything. I would buy a cheap speedo gauge to troubleshoot before messing with the transducer.
Sounds like your running off of battery and not the alternator. I'd check the alt.
I don't have any. The valves sit in the same spots as the original. It's easier to buy the parts to make a new manifold than it is to take the valve apart. The boat is out of the water with the cover...
I would think the ignition switch would be the only thing exposed to rain that could be a issue. Maybe the lanyard switch.
Tha appears to be a gelcoat crack. Normal wear and tear and if isolated to the GC, will not leak. Welcome to the world of boating. Could have started from a impact, impossible to tell from a...
Marine wires are no different than regular. You need to either get under manifold wires or buy the performance wires that cut to length. I like the later.
Install the gauge in the Schrader valve on the fuel rail on the port side. If it is tbi you'll have to do some research. With your floor up I would confirm the one way check valve it's functioning...
Verify you have power to the valve first the switch them out for motorized, self closing 12 volt valves. I just did mine and cut the fill time of a 750lb bag down to a touch over seven minutes....
The inside of the cap says "vented" or something like that so I would assume that is normal. I would check the fuel pressure under running conditions prior to change out components. Things can get...
It's fuel injected.
My 03 didn't come with a seperator
Check the fuel pressure when the engine is under load. If pressure drops out of spec then change the filter, same issue after then consider the high pressure fuel pump.
Fuel pressure under load.
For the rear, more on the surf side less on the other. No clean wave generation means either not enough surf side rear weight/too much non surf side test weight and or not enough speed. Regarding...
My CC had carpet remnant wrapped around the area were the muffler is secured to the hull.
The Orbit valves will work. I just finished adding 1" electric ball valves to my boat today. US Solid 1" ball valve, 12 volt, auto closing. My system is all stock with the exception of the valves...
You will never go back and forever ask yourself "why did I wait"
See above...
Fuel injection can't vapor lock. Well it can but it is overcome with the hp fuel pump cycle and return.
Start a troubleshooting algorithm on the ignition. Confirm voltage to coil and spark at plugs. Do some research.
