Thats alot of weight but I would say that it makes for alot bigger wake. Looks like very nice work also.

By pcm, Im talking about some sort of computer that will send a signal to the injector to tell them to start giving fuel to the engine. As new as your boat is I would say there is one hid somewhere.

It sounds like your engine is throttle body injected. If you can hear the fuel pump run, I would pull the main fuel line where it enters the throttle body and see if the fuel is making it up there....

I have an 87 sunsport also, My tower is an Ariel Airborn and it fit great,easy install and looks like its made for the boat.

I can tell you that if you have a gm engine, and they will run at very low oil pressures and be ok. I have seen them run as low as 3lbs for several years.
