Thanks for the pics. How long have you been on the boat with the new floor?

This, I'd like to see some work as well.
It's a dickfer.
My old Comp engine has way more than 1300 hours on it, and no issues, but I'm very good at my maintenance and care.
As others said, check the wood and the floors.
And yes, that $7500 Comp...
I'd say that's a good number for that boat. Now the seller could just be an ass, which is why it hasn't sold yet.
Well while I love the Saltare I have to say man, I'm more impressed by the rifles (sorry I clicked right and saw them). Are you a gunsmith? Some of those puppies are very unique builds. I'm an...
Why are all the good project deals the oddball ones? I can never find a pure red one with just the red on the hull.

I know you're limited by what you can get for parts over there, but just because you can bypass or rig something up, doesn't mean you should. You are creating a very dangerous situation for yourself...
Looks like Unobtanium. You're screwed.
:D Yeah looks like teak. Should have no problems bringing it back. The cracks will show up pretty well once new oil is applied, so expect that.
I think he's asking if there might be a big difference in quality from the $90 to $70 one. So like others said, it really comes down to the wood. And since I probably couldn't tell a piece of...
AwlGrip it and be done.
$12.50 for an OBO? That's a pretty good deal. I thought about getting a Bassoon, but an Obo would be pretty pimp. Can you imagine how many ladies would swoon when I break out my Obo?
Doesn't West Marine have some kind of hinge that would work for your boat?
460 motor in a beast? That will be the first one I've heard with that motor in it. I thought they only came with 454's as the big block. Pics of the engine?
To answer your questions:
1) Yes...
And the bow rails are also bent. Those would have to be custom made now. $$$$
As much of a fan of rare boats, there is no way in holy hell I would ever pay anything north of 10-12k for that...
If you're really gunning for Surf, look for a shorter boat. From what I've seen the shorter ones with lotsa weight can really put out a good surfing wave. Perhaps someone with experience in surf...
Mariah's aren't surfing boats. Sure you can weight the piss out of them, and surf, but they won't be able to compete with a Gen I Sunsport, or the Gen II Sunsport or Saltare. They are just too low...
I know this boat personally. It's a good boat, just needs some cleaning and TLC.
For the record a single axle trailer like a MC Prostar 190 trailer will fit this boat. My Mariah was on a MC...
Dealer boat.
Yep. Thank god that boat found a new owner. I next expected you to tell us this was the new tow rig:
...
His panel should be the one with Radio on the left and bilge and blower on the left panel as well. Right panel should be lights, and courtesy lights, etc.
Oh my god do I want that. That is the dream Comp I've been wanting. All white, Classic Comp. DROOOOOL
Damn I need to be wealthy.
It's a 3800lb boat. They stick to the trailer. I never "slide" mine off. If it won't glide off with either a good push, or a little rocking, I come back a few more inches. They stick from time...
Nope, it's not a Sunsport, it's not a LaBrisa. It's a Comp. One the LaBrisa has a bull nose compared to the long Comp bow, and it even says "Comp Ts6m" right after his stripper's name on the side.
