My buddy has an SL450 and that is a sweet boat. Had loads of fun on that boat. I'm not sure what size prop he's been using, I'll have to check.
As long as everything checks out ok with the Supra, definitely go with the bigger boat. Especially with a family and gear, you'll run out of room quick on a 21 foot boat.
I'm 6'1" 190 pounds and I've ridden the Connelly Ride Heavy Duty. I really liked the board. Connelly says it's good up to 260 lbs. You might want to check it out.
Seems like a pretty sweet deal to me, as long as there are no major problems. The prices for new boats these days are insane, out of my reach. So if you can find a decent one at a decent price,...
