Your ride just made it to my screen saver...sweeet!!!
Thanks, I'll give him a ring. I sure hope it's something simple. This will be the third time I've had the motor out...that's more times than I've had her in the water...ARRRGH.
Thx Lively! I'll be working on it this weekend. I will post some pictures on my thread (going the distance)
I removed the shift cable so I could try shifting by hand. When I put it in forward it engages fine, then I go to neutral and that's fine, then reverse...nothing but a small drip of transmission...
Will do. Thx.
Thanx! This will help.
Thats great!!! Good job!!!
right-on. my buddy lives on lstl. we go boarding out there every sunday morning around 6am. bull shoals is the best place in mo to ride i think...just wish i was a little closer.

Great tutorial. This is the simple instructions that I've been looking for. Thanks!

I totally agree...lots of beer involved with it. Margarita's on the weekends.
I spent around $300 on paint. It's "Blue Marine" brand, and I got it online. I started with 80 grit and worked my way down to 220 grit with my orbital sander, then I wiped it down with vinegar...
getting there. windshield on yesterday and working on wiring new gauges today.
Ben, painting it wasn't so bad. I used a marine two-part topcoat and about five or six coatings. I screwed up on the first coat by spraying it on too thick, but I've never painted with any kind of...
I got it from local lumber yard. It was actually left over from an addition I built.
