That is what insurance is for . If it aint broke don't fix it. You may cause a leak buy messing with it . You will cause a lot of issues by leaving it in the water.

How much pressure do you want ? I have a 2800 psi gas unit I have been very pleased with.
There are a number of stringer repair threads on here use the search box at the upper right. Some good places to buy materials are US Composites for fiberglass and epoxy. They are very knowledgeable...
Sure a compression test will tell you that and if the timing chain has jumped. This all started with the new starter ? Are you sure its right? Are you sure its spinning the correct way?
That pump is very expensive I would clean it up and epoxi it back together.
The orange is absolutely the worst filter money can buy. Wix ,Mobil 1, K&N, AC and Motorcraft are all good . K&N and Mobil 1 are probably the best also the most expensive . A better grade of oil is...
Drag will not be a problem the platform is out of the water shortly after the boat starts moving. I think they put in the slots so waves can pass with less up and down movement on the platform when...
Pull the boat out of the water fill the bilge with about 6'' of water[keep it below the starter] look for water coming out.
I went with a cheap aftermarket bimini from iboat I think it was about 100.00. I wanted it to be high enough so we could walk under it. It has worked well for 4 plus years with the exception of the...
Head, exhaust manifold, intake manifold or block . You will just have to take it apart until you find the problem. If its freeze damage you could have more than one crack?
Mine is a 92 with the rounded windshield works fine on it . You will just have to try it on yours.
The exhaust manifold can crack or rot out and allow water to enter the cylinder through the exhaust valve . Its a long shot at best . If its been in freezing conditions it's probably the engine block...
I don't like the dash mounted mirror it blocks my view to the front and passengers get in the way of the rear view. I like the CIPA 02000 COMP Universal 7" x 14" Marine Mirror, Black up on top of the...
Did it freeze? How much water are you talking about? Is the oil milky like a Chocolate milkshake? It's also common for the exhaust manifolds to cause that if it didn't freeze I would check there....
I currently own 6 boats 5 inboards 1 pontoon . The 92 comp is by far our favorite . My wife is more into slalom skiing and air chair and I really enjoy driving the comp like a ferrari on water.

Do you still have the weight and passenger capacity tag next to the dash?
The engine can jump the timing chain just by cranking if its loose enough. A compression test will tell you if the chain has jumped. You can also set the crankshaft at top dead center on number one...
You bought it for 15k? That is a very good price for a cherry turn key inboard with next to no hours. What did the dealer suggest you do about the overheat?
Mobil 1 15w50 in all my boats 5w30 in the cars
Looks like a nice project boat I wish it was closer to me.
looks like steel I noticed a little deterioration on the end but the boat has over 1200 hours. dorman and ebay has them . Google knock sensor adapter.
I have a 08 Nautique 210 5.7 the knock sensors screw into a adapter that screws into the block. You may want to check with PCM .
What is the price?
You only need a thruster if you have a big heavy barge type boat that can't get out of its own way on its own. You can also hire a tugboat or two to help you dock.
