The windshield is still available.
I may have one in my Saltare parts bin. I’ll try and look later this week and get back to you.
Not easy to find an original one but there is one located here:

Boat is sold
We've enjoyed this site and the boat for the past 6-7 years but time to move on. See link to our CL ad:

I can’t recall everything I kept. I’ll hope to pull all the parts down from storage next week and will get back to you.
Miscellaneous parts from a parted out 1987 Saltare. Full windshield, dash with gauges, engine cover and lots of misc hardware.
Engine, drivetrain and swim platform are gone. Located 20 miles...
Engine cover from a 1987 Saltare for sale. Vinyl is light grey in decent shape but a recover would be needed if your looking for perfection. Located in Minneapolis and will consider shipping if...
I may know of one in MN but not sure if he still has it. I'll reach out to him and see what I can find out.
Wotan2525:
Any update on this. Going to be real hot this weekend and the bimini would be a nice addition.
Let me know. Thanks!
Does anyone have a chunk of the original rub rail for a Saltare or know where I can get a small piece around 2' long. It appears to be a 2 piece rub rail and I'm looking for the inner potion which...
Too bad I did not get ahold of you before we purchased it and drove it back from Knoxville, TN. You could have had everything for a song and it would have been delivered.
I agree it's probably...
We could of course include many of the bottom running gear items if interested in the project. We simply removed them all so we could slide the hull off the trailer onto some wood on the ground...
I'm not up to speed of what supra named their colors but I would not classify it as the normal boat fiberglass "white". It's an off white or light grey but again I'm just describing my opinion on...
Below are a couple of links to where it was listed here previously. It was purchased and sat for a year or so until we bought it a few weeks ago. As described above we have stripped everything...
We acquired a 2nd 1987 Saltare for the trailer and have stripped everything off the boat. It did not have an engine, transmission or fuel tank so these would not be available but nearly everything...
Michael:
Thank you so much for the info and quick response. Very much appreciated!!!
Does anyone by chance have part numbers for the wheel bearings and seals for a late 80's SMP dual axle trailer made for the Saltare? I would appreciate it!
Would this trailer work for a 87 Saltare? Looks like the boat is 1 to 1.5 feet shorter but slightly taller than the Saltare. Would the bunks line up OK with a slight modification to the bow.
...
I thought I looked everywhere on their site. I'll do some more research there. Thanks!
I'm trying to find a better trailer for a 1987 Saltare and was wondering if anyone has a few pictures of an original (Boatmate?) trailer these came on without the boat loaded on it. Trying to get a...
Thanks guys!
I'm needing a replacement for the rear port side. I believe there are only two cleats on each side of the boat, nothing in the middle that I recall.
Recently picked up a 87' Saltare and was wondering if anyone had a copy of an original owners manual for the boat by chance. I was able to get a manual from PCM for the engine but would like to see...
If anyone has a spare cleat that matches the ones for a 87 Saltare please contact me with price. Thank you!
Still on the hunt for a trailer. If anyone has or knows of a Saltare or Pirata trailer that is available I would appreciate it. Thanks
