It has the LS3
Bought a 2011 Malibu VTX. Put 100 hours on it and sold it for 2 grand more than I paid for it the following spring.
Then bought a 2012 Malibu VLX. Put around 150 hours on it and broke even.
Now in...
Goodness.
My comments about phallic symbols and such were meant in jest, but do speak to the crowd that comes on here and bashes every new boat because they are shaped differently and cost more...
Classic...... Attack my financial status/decisions.
Whatever, at least when the EMP hits your cars and boat will still work. (Assuming they have points) You got me there. ;)
See torque...
People that hate the new looks and complain about the technology crack me up. You guys belong in the balcony with the old guys from the Muppets. As stated above, FI was the end of the world but...
Yes Sir! They are still available.
The goofy side wave is much more difficult to dial in. The 750 bags you have in are OK but you really need some more weight in the rear to maximize the SC's potential. Few hundred pound of lead would...
If you don't see a hose in the rear locker then you don't have the flex system installed. Probably worth having the dealer install or you can find out what you need to do it yourself.
Yes. You would simply plug the bags into the flex ballast system and then change the timer settings on your murphy system to compensate for the bigger bag. I am assuming that you have the flex system...
Poor advice since that sack won't fit well and you will not get 750 pounds. The bags I am selling retail for $489 each at wakemakers. I think $400 for both is fair.
...
I have (2) 750 pound bags for sale that are specifically made for your rear lockers. Should be plug and play for your boat.
Used 1 season. Ready to plug into your Supra SC/SA. $400 bucks for both.
This video is from my SC450 with basically 100% factory hard tanks full + plug in play (Rear 750 bags 100% full, front 350 bag 90%) + 400 pounds of lead + 400 sack on floor. ( probably 3500 total...
Boat is probably too big/heavy for the base 400hp. So you get the 440hp or 575hp supercharged Ford.
Bags should fit just fine. I have an SC450 and for sure the wake is much harder to dial in on the starboard side. Just the nature of the beast. Adding extra weight to the starboard side will clean it...
I have to trade in my boat already??????
I like the concept of the NXT and I hope they do well with it. I wish Mastercraft would apply the same to their ski boat and offer a $30K all day direct drive. That new Prostar is mucho dinero!!
1600rpm was just a point of reference. A marine version of the Eco would outperform a 351W at every point in the torque curve. 2 small turbos with high compression due to the cooling effect of direct...
1600 was just a point of reference. An ECO will outperform any N/A V8 at almost any point in the curve, especially in a boat. With small turbos and direct injection allowing relatively high...
1600 was just a point of reference. The Eco makes more torque from bottom to top over a N/A V8. Hate to break it to you, but that engine straight out performs and will run circles around a 351. With...
I am not an ecoboost owner, but have to say that this engine has way better torque curve than any NA V8, and right where a boat needs it, 1600rpm and up. 400+ ft pounds at 1600rpm.
These engines...
Sweet!!! Four weeks and counting for mine....
I was on the fence between these same 2 boats and the Supra won out for a few reasons.
Overall fit and finish: Personally I think the Malibu has gone through quite a bit of cost cutting,...

These guys rock!!
I think a lot more of that will be going on as people realize how well the SA/SC competes with the LSV/MXZ. One drive in the SC had me selling my VLX.
