That is one slick Conbrio!
I'm pretty sure it doesn't go all the way through the hull. I'm thinking it might be easier to just leave it there and install the new transducer somewhere else.
Hey guys I need some advice. My depth finder is acting weird. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's accurate and sometimes it doesn't read anything at all, so I want to replace...
This is pretty much the same thing I do and it doesnt cost anything.
While I was out on the water this weekend, the depth finder on my boat was acting screwy. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. (screen would go blank) Does anyone else have problems...
Well, I finally got my driveshaft replaced this past week and took the boat to the lake Saturday to test it out. It ran smooth all day. Turned out to be a bigger project than I wanted it to be...
thescott,
Some guys say to heat the coupler up in the oven so that it will expand before putting it back on the shaft. I would only do that if I felt like I was having trouble getting it to seat...
LOL! good idea!
My boat does the same thing. It runs perfect, but if I shut it off and try to start it two minutes later, I have to hold the throttle wide open. I haven't looked to see if it dumps fuel into the back...

I don't know? I will make some phone calls tomorrow.
Last time I had my boat out, I noticed it had a vibration issue. I visually inspected the prop and it looked fine so i decided it must be the strut bushings. Ordered new bushings, pulled prop and...
I found some pictures.
First one is the weld where the two pieces were joined together. I put a coat of primer on it and some black paint and its really not noticable.
The last picture is the...
I have an extended pylon, and at first, I tought the same thing as you. However, I have used it alot with no problems. I would always let the extended pylon slide over the factory pylon all the way...
My boat is also taking on water. Alot more this year than last year. I know that my driveshaft stuffing box is dripping quite a bit more than it should be, but there has to be water getting in...

Thank you. I will give this a try.:)
I would like to get some opinions about cleaning gel coat.
The gel coat on my boat is in good condition. Last weekend, the wife and I decided to wax the boat (89 Comp) and get it ready for spring. I...
Wow! Sweet looking boat! Sometimes i wish mine had an open bow.
whats the easiest way to get to the rudder? Do you have to remove the backseat?
Thanks csuggs!
Thanks, I got them at a local wheel and tire shop. Wheel and tire with new ceter caps...mounted and everything cost about $275 for both. I didn't think that was bad at all!
The place I bought them...

That boat looks brand new! I'm guessing you could sell it for about 8 grand. Its always good to see older boats that have been taken care of!
