well if there was no theromstat in ther you can rule that out as your problem i have removed them in the past in a pinch when they fail un expectedly. but better to have one in there then not

thats the factory location if your thinking about doing it dont. i hate it there it gets kicked more than anything and its a pain to try and mess with down there.

now i just need to buff it out and a few other lil odds and ins and its lake time!!
