It's not SO expensive. My saltare was 13000€. A comp is 7000€. An old school Mastercraft pro star 190 (1990') is arround 10000€. A correct craft ski nautique 2001 (1990') with tower is arround 8000€. All boats here are low hours, as fuel here is expensive. Many v8 boats are less than 500h. Mine is 250h, and in very good condition (stringers and floors looks new), no any scracth on the vinyl and hull etc.

    Bonne année à tous

Here are some upgrades. I just started the tower speaker.

It's made of PVC foam (Komacel) 19mm. Here is my design (greatly inspired by this one : http://bierbower.net/diytower/pdfs/F...SpeakerBox.pdf )

    ts01.jpgts02.jpgts03.jpgts04.jpg

Next step is thermoforming the face, stretching fleece, fiberglassing etc.

Then I plan to finish it with black vinyl, and polished aluminium face.

    Stay tuned

    Cool shinny stuff

Have been thinking about a tower mostly for the racks. I dont care much for how towers look but all the room would be nice.
How are the speeker boxes coming

Yep, room and elevation are the best of towers. If I still have money after all that work, I probably will put 2 more racks, as we are many friends with many boards

The speaker boxe skeleton is glued and screwed. I was waiting for racks, mirror and espacialy clamps to adjust the box mountings placement. Will also bondoing and "rounding" skeleton angles. Waiting for sleece to stretch it. I ordered it yesterday.

But there is a problem : Speakers are missing !! I placed an order at onlinecarstereo.com. My mistake was to click on "international shipping". They are slow. They still not have received my order at their warehouse. Order was placed on 20 of december.

    I already have fiberglass.

    So, wait and see

It's a metal cutting machine that allows for very fine control. You can cut complex shapes or words into metal.

Ok I see now. The CNC machine is not mine. One friend did it for me for the speakers box PVC parts. All the shinny parts are from www.diywake.com

Now it's ready to be sleeced and fiberglassed

I'm waiting for sleece, still not receive.
