I Phone hook up to radio

I am having an issue playing music off my I-Phone on my 2011 Supra 242 and wondering if I need a special cord. I plug it into the USB and the radio does not seem to recognize it as the radio manual suggests it will. We hit mode button and put it on AV in and nothing plays. Any suggestions of what we are doing wrong? Really want to be playing music of i- phone this weekend.

All you would need to do is find a Aux audio cable (~$3-$5 at any online store) and that should solve your problem. I have a 2011 21V and I run the cable out of the glovebox even though it is somewhat inconvenient in location, but it gets the job done.

Yeah go to radio shack and buy an aux cable and connect it to the back of the HU. Easy peasy!
