    Default Progressive tower wiring

I ran into a snag installing my tower speakers. I got the tower speakers ran all the way to the tower base but there doesnt seem to be a hole where the tower mounts to the hull. There's holes in the tower for wiring on this side but there doesnt seem to be a hole.

Probably going to have to drill a hole and find the appropriate connectors. What's the boat model? Photos?

Well I ended up finding a small hole that I missed last night, I was kind of in a rush because it was starting to rain. Drilled the hole out a little bigger. Got them all mounted up and they sound sweet!

For future reference the small hole is just toward the transom of the metal backing plate for the tower.

Yeah just did the same install last weekend. I tell you running 12 AWG up through the tower was so fun. (SARCASM) Those speakers look sexy. BTW I didn't like the original mounting brackets. Having to drill holes and feed them through the the bracket. The back of the cone has a spot for an XLR connector. I fed the wire back through. The guys at WetSounds are really helpful all you have to do is drop them an email.

Yea running the wires was not fun. I actually like the no wires look but I did notice there was a plate you could take off on the back of the speakers if you wanted to use the xlr connector, it's nice that you have an option especially if you already have wires run but they are not in the right spot. You don't wanna go drilling a bunch of holes in your tower.
