    did you put your engine in before carpet? i did carpet first.

    I did engine first (since I could just see oil or tranny fluid leaking out of the engine on to my brand new carpet.

    I like the last two comments. It shows that there is not just one way things have to be accomplished. There is room for personal opinion, and people considering taking on these type of tasks should not be overly concerned about following a certain process step-by-step. Be creative and make it work for you.
