    Default Tinning 1/0 gauge cable

anybody tin 1/0 cable after stripping it, so it goes into a distribution block easily?

    How'd you do it?

Normally no, but if you do, you'll need a torch. Soldering iron won't quite do it.

    thanks.

Already got it done, and yes - a torch was necessary! I used one meant for copper plumbing.

I then had to grind the solder smooth to get it into the distribution box.

Fits perfectly in the socket and the set screw holds much better on a solid mass compared to the 5000 strands of a 1/0 cable.
