Default ProSport On Board Charger -- Thumbs Down!

I've run the ProSport 20 3-bank on-board charger since 2009. It's maintained my batteries very well (haven't had to replace any since then.) I always leave it plugged in whenever the boat is not on the water. My dad runs the same charger in his bass boat. Neither one of them survived the winter. Plug them in and they are completely dead -- no lights or noises whatsoever. 2 identical units, both dead within 4 years of purchase.

Doing a search showed that we probably got more money out of these chargers than most people do. Lots of failures reported under 9-months.

I'll be replacing it but not with another ProSport. Found this Noco Genius charger on Amazon that has great reviews.... I'll let you guys know how it works.

This is what I put in the boat when new, and (knock on wood) still working like a champ!
