How did you go about tuning the amp?

Set-up in the manual helpfull?

Not sure how current doc is since it is stamped 2010.

I am getting ready to wire a harpoon to a pair of xm9's. I would suspect a Exile rep to jump in soon.

That is the document exile is currently sending customers.

I've tried that procedure - gotta have the sensitive fingers of a safecracker.

I could not "feel" the clicks using a small screw driver.

I'm thinking tuning by ear may be the way to go.

Lots of suggestions on the Moomba forum from various "experts", but nothing that breaks it down into a simple step-by step synopsis of the procedure.

On an 800.4 bridged, I was told to set the HP to approximately the 10:30 position. Not sure if that holds true on the Harpoon. As the Level not sure on that setting currently it is about the same position.
