Norris seems really clear. I wish we had more clear lakes like that. We're headed down for several days camping at one of our cleanest in OK. We'll be sure to get plenty of pics.

Been out on the water a handfull of times, finally got some pics off the camera. Happy to be out on the lake enjoying this weather!
Water is still a bit chilly up this way but with 30+ weather it's just fine!

You got it SRT8 wheels on a stock jeep, but its the 3.0L Diesel! Found the SRT8 OEM (Forged Aluminum Alcoa's ) wheels for a deal that I couldn't turn down! Surprisingly my towing capacity is greater then the Hemi version! hhaha

Gel Coat! Worked with a friend in the composites industry and he was able to help me mix and spray the boat! Need to add a thinning agent for it to be sprayable, I believe it's called "Durex"? I don't think you can go wrong with paint or gel-coat on one of these old boats, the reason we opted for gel is because the we could wetsand out some of the imperfections, making the prep time substantially less before spraying.

The bottom (Grey/Gunmetal) is a 2-Part epoxy paint that was also suggested to me by the same guy.

That lake is huge! How is the water smooth?? In my experience, the big lakes are almost never smooth.

Lots of rot... no interior... needs tons of work... but it floats and pulls me on the wakeboard, so I'm happy!!

Timing and a different bay for each wind direction lol!

Truthfully it can been pretty choppy and unpleasant from time to time, but I live a block from the lake with my boat in a slip walking distance from the house. Early AM and dusk sets seem to be the name of the game!
