new sun deck

just bought a 91 conbrio.. thought about finding a way to make a removable sundeck pad that would fit over the rear seats and make the ski locker and area above the rear seat a big sundeck. then when not in use fold up and maybe store on side behind drivers seat.. ideas/?

Jet is gonna be all over this. He created a custom sundeck for his comp that took the place of the rear seat, allowing him to have more ballast, storage, and square footage of sun-bathers.

You would have to rebuild the back seat for this idea. I had a 95 Malibu barefooter. The back of the seat was attached to the rear. Two armrests were attached to the sides. The bottom of seat was one piece that slid under armrests and under attached back seat. You slid out the bottom half of seat and set it on armrests and you had a sundeck.
