    Default Oil change, how often?

How often do you guys change your oil? I put about 60 hours on the boat so far this season... 35 of which were in the last two weeks (I don't even wanna think about that gas bill!). Last year I put around that all season and the year before I got the boat in September so hardly put any hours on it. This year it looks like I'll be putting well over 100 hours on it if I keep up this usage. I see some guys change every 50 hrs, some 75, some 100, some just once a season. Oil still looks clean, but thinking I should change it with this much use.

PCM recommends 50 hours with filter.

Once a season for me.... although I add Lucas to mine, and use the same oil I put in my truck.... I change my truck oil every 15000 miles so 15000/60mph = 250h of running time.... just keep an eye on the color and viscosity, if it black and watery I'd change it.

My boat is coming up on its 50 hour oil change this season. The oil still has a nice honey color to it so I'm gonna let it go for a little longer. No sense wasting good oil.

You could go 100 with the oil and just spin a new filter on at 50.
