Default 1990 Sunsport Wake Plate/Trim tab adjustment

I have a 1990 Sunsport with the fixed wake plate/trim tab. It is currently adjusted close to 1.5 inches above the bottom of the boat (all the way up). At 20mph I have 3 wakes behind the boat, there is really no "flat" to he center flats area. Is there a sweet spot to dial the plate to, to flatten out the center section? We wakeboard and skate, not to much skiing. This is probably an elementary question so I appologize in advance.
    Thanks for your time.

Lower the plate in 1/4" intervals until you get the wake your looking for...

Yep -- Only thing you can do is play with it. A lot of it depends on your weight. I found for wakeboarding, my best setup was basically level with the bottom of the boat. For surfing I run it as far down as possible.

That plate should not be raised more than 1/2'' up and never below horizontal to the hull.

if you raise the wake plate does it make th wake bigger or rampier?

I read in the manual to make it level for skiing and up for barefooting....

@wontan - do you lower it below the horizon of the hull?
