New back seat bottom?

I was in my buddy's mastercraft last weekend and his boats back seat bottom is in three pieces instead of one big one. I had thought of doing that to my 2007 24 SSV as the one big seat makes it hard to access any of the under-seat storage, has anyone modified their seat?

I was thinking about doing this too. Looks easy enough, and if the vinyl was sectioned instead of one big piece it would not split in the middle. I would like to see some pics if it has been done.

I removed all of the screws, milled some plastic as catches and screwed to the bottom of the seat so that would catch on the alum. I put the seat in place and push it back against the rear cushion till the plastic clips clear and let it go. The clips hold the front down and the rear seat cushion holds the rear down.
