    Default 90 Mariah low RPMS...prop?

At WOT this boat is barely scratching 3000 RPM with a 14x14 prop......is this normal? If not, does anyone know what kind of prop would get healthier RPMS?

    Thanks!

    Just for info, on my 88 Saltaire w/454 I turn 4400 using 13x14 or 4700 using 13x13.5. I like the 13x14, it gives me 30 mph/3000 rpm's where the 13x13.5 gives 27 mph/3000 rpm's. Both are gang-busters out of the hole!

    Thanks!
Acme props said I should gain 1400 RPMs if I switch to a 13x12. That should put the ol' Mariah at 4400 RPM WOT.

The Mariah came back to life.....the new prop is awesome!! I'm getting 4200RPM WOT with a great hole shot and a 6mph increase at the top end.

This is very interesting, as my '90 Mariah came with a 13x13 prop w/ 1.23:1 trans. My WOT is 4400 rpm as well. This is a 3 blade prop.
