Its early march. Wondering who has already pulled the boat out and taken sets. Also, when people are expecting to hit the water.

Consider this the start of the countdown to WakeBoard Season 2013.

I couldn't be more excited to get the boat back in the water... We're planning to put the boat in the water in North Carolina March 31st and I'll hopefully get a chilly pull that day to test out the new wakeboard (and wetsuit).

We are going to board on Saturday. Water temp is still 49, but the air should be 69. The boat went on the lift Sunday, so it is ready to go. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362447916.279305.jpg

I'm very anxious like everyone else, but I'm especially watching the lake level this spring because as soon as it's deep enough I'm putting my boat on a friend's lift so I can rehab the trailer. I need to get it done fairly quickly so I'm not occupying his lift when he wants to get his boat wet. So I'm looking forward to two different "first" launches. One for the trailer rehab, and one for the opening of boating season.

My problem is I have to shop for a lift again because the one I used last year is going to be occupied by my in laws Cobalt that just starting being built last week. As of now, I'll be keeping the boat on the trailer out on a concrete pad and dunking the boat when I want to ski.

JLK will be a bit chilly but we thought about getting the boat out this weekend ( suppposed to be 60 right ? ) and putting up the slalom course and throwing on a wet suit and ripping a few turns.
