    Thanks for the leads! The Saltare guy is holding for $8500 so its a maybe at 10 hours away. The other two, while nice are both about 17 hours from our home each way!!! where the heck are the closer boats? but damn that Rider looks clean!!

    I drove 16 hours to view /buy my used boat back in 1992.
    Then towed it back for another 16 hours to home ---went all through it and then another 5 hours to the lake where it has been ever since. Still have the same boat today! Love my boat! took the family along and had a great time -lots of memories!
    My point is if you want it bad enough you sometimes have to be willing to drive to get it!
    If I found the right boat I would drive for 2 days or more to retrieve it.
    Alternately you can hire someone to tow it for you ---often for less than you think.

    I live in colorado and went to long island for my truck 2000 miles and i went to california for my boat 1000 miles. it's all a matter of finding the right ride for the right price. then distance doesn't matter.
