    Default 86 saltare dimensions

I'm having a double stack trailer built to pull behind my motor coach so I can pull my car and my boat.. Does anyone know the distance from the bottom of the keel to the top of the windshield? And the distance from the bow tip to the end of the deep v part?

My 89 measures 65.5" from the deepest part of the keel (where it steps up to the skeg) to the top of the center windshield. Straight line distance measured on the floor, bow tip to the step in the deep V is 143". I don't think any two of these old boats will ever measure exactly the same, but hope this helps.

Thank you sooo much.. Mine is still in storage.. If I add 2 inches to your numbers I should be safe.. From bow tip to the step is that linear or along the hull?

Bow tip to the step was a linear 143" measurement along the floor (not along the curve of the keel). Mine matches the max beam of 99" listed in the 1990 manual.

That's gotta be close to achieving "Land barge" or "Land yacht" status with this trailer you're planning on building and towing!

Wanting to build a double decker trailer.. Height isn't the problem the problem is beam of the saltare.. Might need to cheat on the width of the trailer by an inch or 2.. Or get a smaller boat.. Anyone got a Mariah?..lol
