villain...good to see the wife getting up. She reminds me of my wife when she started...clutching the rope tightly.

Some great shots, for sure. Keep posting them up so I can live vicariously through your fun.

It was all good on the Trinity River two weekends ago - no traffic (only 4 tow boats & a few toons & fishermen all day - so don't hate on the tube). Even the dog was having fun.

Then - BAM - Looks like I'm out of commission for a while - tore the medial and lateral calf muscles on the slalom. The calf on my back leg just gave way in the middle of a hard turn. The water was glass & guess I was feeling my oats a bit too much, I just had to dip that elbow one more time... Doc says two weeks in a boot & then 4-6 weeks to rehab. It sucks to get old!

Okie, it's awesome to have her ride behind the boat. She was talking trash about it until she got behind it. Now she loves it!

Sybrmike - sorry about the leg. We're not as young as we used to be, but it's fun trying.

Sorry to hear as well! I'm only 33 and I can tell I'm no longer a spring chicken. I used to be able to do 5-6 sets of wakeboarding and now after only 2 I'm bushed! Hope you heal as fast as RG3 or AP!

Trayson--Very true! You got heckled pretty good for yours! I wonder what the "purists" will say about mine....

Okie-Thank You sir and yes I have put a lot of time in on that boat! It was the blue and off white SunSport skier we are very happy with her. The hardest part was the stringers!

Fuel prices? It's worth it. We'll start a Sdc77 fund!
