    Default A fun little map....

Not sure if it can be done but how about a map of North America and other areas of intrest of where we all live. From here we could outline our stomping grounds with some pics. Thought it could be fun to see other lakes or vacation spots.

HERE IS THE LINK OF THE MAP

We moved from NW Indiana to Flowery Branch Georgia almost three years ago . Its like living in Para-Para-Paradise with Lake Lanier across the street. We are on the south side near Lake Lanier Islands resort it can get pretty busy on weekends with boats up to 50' but the north side is always good . Lake lanier is about 35 miles north of atlanta http://www.lakelanierislands.com/.

We live about 25 minutes south of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Pretty much in the country, Deer Creek State Park is the Closest water to us. During the week hardly anyone on the water.

If you zoom it out a little you can see the park. Was just trying to see if this would work.

Here's a Map built in Googles Map Engine that everyone is able to edit/add to. I agree that it would be cool to see where everyone is and where they ride -- I went ahead and added a marker for myself but I've made the map publicly editable, so feel free to go crazy!

ok - so I had to log OUT of google, then back in to see the EDIT link - but I am still not sure I see how to add my marker. (this feels really stupid to me, I design software architecture for a MAJOR computer manufacturer ... )

It's certainly not the most intuitive UI.
