This guy is wanting to trade for my 88 comp. Im looking into it and possibly planning on meeting him. The only thing is he know nothing really about the boat and the fiberglass has damage. I've put a lot of time into my comp. really the only thing left is worst case the stringers at some point. Only reason is be willing to trade , my wife is wanting a bigger boat for the family. Let me know what you guys think. The SS has 1000 hrs. The hole in the fiber glass is above the water level on the side almost to the top by the rear bench. It's about 3" wide. Seller is saying it had dock damage...

NOW WAY I'D TRADE MY CLEAN COMP FOR THAT!

That boat needs at least about $3,000 to get to nice. $5,000 to get it awesome. And that's without even seeing this "hole".

I'd be severely careful on this one.

I wouldn't trade...but at $3500 I'd but it in an instant if the engine ran decent.

Ya something is skeptical about it.. He's not willing to do a lake test. Def a no go for me. He told me he'd sell the boat hull and trailer for 3k$. With no motor or trani lol.
