It's more like a few flips or its 36mph to 0 face plants. Hard enough where I feel it in the boat. I think I'm going to strap my gopro camera on him.

There are times when the ski really should be able to come off right? SupraLaunch21v, you are talking about snug. Have you ever come out of the boot in a crash? Is it important or am I being paranoid?

Sorry, Missed this response I guess. I have taken some pretty hard falls ( some where the judge and safety officer stood up in the boot to make sure I was okay. . . and then burst into laughter after I gave the "all ok" signal ) and I don't think I've ever come out of the ski or boots. They are not overly tight, but they are snug fitting. Depending on your feet / toes and sizes, if you overtighten the front boot can start to cut into your big toe. Luckily I"ve never had any injuries.
