    Default 1988 Comp interior redo

    So I thought I would do a build tread for my Interior. The basic plan is;

    • seats

    • stereo

    • Led lighting

    • dual battery's

    This is where I am with materials. I like this carbon fiber look! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1382732703.952446.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1382732725.018625.jpg

    Thinking of striping similar to this yellow/gray/black layout, but in blue and Something else?

    I so plan to form some new cup holders around the rear seat. I'll take some pics of the seats as they are too. Yikes!

    I actually drew the boat interior and started sketching out color patterns and stripe layout. I feel this requiring a lot more beer to complete!! I'll post a few of those sketches as well.

    Cannot wait to see what you come up with. I love the name of the boat, also!

    Well, I taped off some striping, but don't like it. The other is the current state, which looks great in a picture, but really isn't. I have some other and to tape off, but am feeling that a simple, classy look may be the best route.

    When I first looked at the pics I thought you added the stripes permanently . I'm so glad you didn't.

    No. This is a harder decision than I originally thought. Just tape.

    I installed 4 Polk Audio MM651UM speakers earlier this year and I was pleasantly surprised by them. Sounded very clean being driven by only a 60x4 amp.

    You have to excuse the mess, but this is what I ended up doing with the radio. I had this Sony xplod from a car I bought, but never used it. I cleaned it up, tested it out, and swapped the CD changer for a iPhone/iPod attachment. Works perfect for $9.00. Sort of cool. Changes colors etc. my kids like it!

    For the box, I picked up this water shield box off eBay for $20 and reversed all the brackets to sit on the dash.

    Next step is the speakers. I picked up 2 10" Kicker marine subwoofers and a Rockford amp. I don't know that I will use both, but it was a package deal. I want to add two small surface mount done tweeters to the dash in the corners of the windshield. When you sit in the front, all the sound is in the back, so my hope was to even it out a bit.
