Default Noise, harshness, vibrations without foam?

As some of you may know I'm in the middle of a stringer/floor replacement on my sunsport. Trying to decide if I should have some closed cell foam sprayed in for rigidity and sound deadening. I was thinking like 1-3 inches only and not filling up to the floor. Anyone have comments?

I trusted the expert on this (Donny @ Bennett's) - they recommended putting the foam in. Once they re-do a boat and fix all the quirky things from the factory, you shouldn't have to worry about soaked foam again for a long-long time.

i put foam back in but not the traditional pour. compared to the traditional method i'm probably missing 10-15% of the foam. even with the traditional pour it's hard to completely fill all areas. you won't hear any difference with the engine running. once you glass the floor and carpet it any sound is deadened.

check my rebuild link. it was really easy. gives you some flotation and you can still allow for drainage as the foam doesn't seal everything up.
