2079 ACME prop for 2013 242

Thinking about changing my prop for wake surfing. I upgraded the ballast bags to 1100 lbs on each side but I'm not getting the wake I need for surfing. Does anyone have this set up?

Our 242 came with the 1235 and we use it mostly for surfing. It is certainly all the prop we need for that. We run lots of ballast and have no problem at all. I would not go to a 12 pitch prop over what we have which is a 14.25 If I was going to try a different one I would look for something around a 15 pitch.

The prop is only going to help get you on plane, not make a better wave. You probably just need even more weight. That's a big boat you're dealing with...
