    Default Doghouse base

To anyone who has rebuilt theirs...what material did you use? Someone around here had a drawing too, anyone know where that got to?

I used pressure treated 2x6 lumber that I let dry out before I cut it to shape and put it together.

3/4 Marine plywood is best but its about 80.00 per sheet. MDO is a little cheaper.

I made mine out of aluminum ,pressure treated seems pretty heavy once it's done
Also it gave me a bit more foot room in the boat

Only $80? Here it is $125. I will likely use exterior mahogany ply and coat it...less than half the cost of marine.
