    Default TS6M Comp 351 W impeller

Where do I find a replacement impeller or better yet the part # for an 87 Comp? I've looked on eBay, but unsure of the replacement part # to order. Local marina/ dealer? Motor is a 351 W. Getting my boat back this weekend from the shop (new floor/carpet) and want to do some PM including replacement impeller before getting out on the water. Is it best to remove the entire water pump assembly to replace the impeller?

skidim will have all the correct parts for your boat, very helpful if you call them. It may be easier to remove the pump to replace, that is how I do it. Just be sure it goes back in the way it came out, as it can go either way depending on engine rotation. www.skidim.com

Buy the Globe Stop #628 silicone impeller. Will far outlast those rubber impellers...

I'm having trouble finding the globe #628, I have found the 620. I'll call the websites that I found the brand on today and ask them I guess. I like the reviews on thus product, thanks for letting me know about them.

For $24.99! That's less than a regular impeller from skidim.

You don't need to remove the pump. Just pop the bolts off and you'll have access to the impeller through the back. I would use some Vaseline in the housing to lubricate it for the first start up. Make sure you spin the impeller the correct way so the fins are running in the correct direction.

That's the part number for sherwood pumps that pcm used. More than likely that's what you have.
