    Default lmpeller replacement

    Just pulled my impeller after an overheating issue,impeller is bad just wondering should I pull the thermostat housing to look for missing pieces or just pull exhaust baffles and hope they pass.either way not a big deal to me. Thanks for any and all replys

    Start at the Tstat and try to find as much of the old impeller as you can. Make sure you put the pump on correctly . It can be installed upside down.

    Pulled tstat out no pieces pulled baffles and big chunks and little chunks of the impeller fell out thinking gonna run without baffles next time out just to. Make sure there are no small pieces left in the exhaust

    Also remember if your boat sets for a long period of time or if you live in an area where you have to winterize you should pull the impeller. Learned that the hard way.
