What's under the glued Carpet?

I ask the Question because i just looked at the Seadek Site and i like that product. If i remove the carpet, what can i expect (2008 21V)? A useful Deck to put some Seadek on it?

Most of the areas you walk on that year are aluminum panels. There are long screws holding them down at the corners. The carpet covers the screw heads.

I am thinking about having snap in carpet made for the main floor area, anyone done that? 07 24 SSV

Aluminium Panels... ah, i was thinking that it is fiberglass. Thank you for the information.
